Like so many individuals and organizations these days, we are finally adding this blog tool to our website.

Our original www.wevo.com  site was created in 1996, back in the days when 4 character URLs were still available.

We created the word WEVO out of necessity when our first choice, the comparatively long winded www.Windrush.com  had been secured just days before at the start of the URL land-rush that built steadily with the widespread realization of where the “www” was going to take us.

At first WEVO was a clumsy word that we struggled to identify with, Windrush had made Windrush brand products since the early 70′s and we had been associated with the name since the mid 70′s.

Now getting on for 15 years later, WEVO has become a part of our daily vernacular, it has developed into a quality brand recognized the world over by Porsche enthusiasts and it feels good to know that with continuing development of the brand and the range of products, that WEVO, our made up word (abbreviated from our full corporate name Windrush Evolutions Inc) will endure for years to come.
